How It Started
Warriors.Pizza was founded by brothers Jonathan “Jon the Warrior” Silva and his younger brother toward the end of the COVID pandemic.
After a long stretch where people were kept apart, we saw something simple happening again — friends and families gathering outside, reconnecting, and sharing meals together.
We wanted to contribute to that moment.
Our answer was live-fire pizza.
With a portable oven and a focus on carefully prepared, Neapolitan-style pizza, we began serving small gatherings around the Pocono Mountains. The idea was simple: cook fresh pizza in front of people, serve it immediately, and create an atmosphere where food brought everyone together.
Over time the paths evolved.
My brother went on to open his own restaurant, while I continued building Warriors.Pizza through mobile events, weddings, and private gatherings.
What started as a small live-fire setup gradually grew into something larger — a disciplined catering experience built around craft, timing, and hospitality.
Today, Warriors.Pizza is entering its next phase.
With the signing of our first kitchen lease, we are establishing a home base that allows us to expand our operations and introduce Warriors Square Pizza — our structured 8×10 pan pizza designed for fermentation, consistency, and controlled production.
The goal remains the same as it was at the beginning:
Serve people well.

Bring people together around great food.

Now we’re building the foundation for what comes next.

Warriors.Pizza is best suited for weddings, private events, and experiential corporate gatherings where live-fire cooking can be part of the atmosphere. We focus on events that allow the experience to be fully expressed.
We primarily operate outdoors or in open-air environments. Indoor-only events are evaluated case by case, as proper ventilation, space, and service flow are essential for live-fire cooking.
Dates are limited to maintain execution quality. We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for peak wedding and event seasons.
Pricing is based on guest count, event details, and logistics. We use value-based pricing rather than preset packages to ensure each event is properly supported.
No. Warriors.Pizza is an experience-first live-fire catering brand — not a slice shop or volume-based catering operation.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date and remove it from availability. Deposits confirm commitment and allow planning to begin.
Event cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Additional payments made may be subject to cancellation terms outlined in your booking agreement.
Changes to guest count, timing, or location may affect pricing or availability. All adjustments are reviewed and confirmed in writing to ensure service quality is maintained.
Live-fire cooking is weather-aware. In cases of severe weather or circumstances beyond either party’s control, we will communicate promptly to determine reasonable next steps, as outlined in the booking agreement.
We serve the Poconos and the surrounding tri-state area. Travel beyond this range may be accommodated upon request.
